Job Description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:


The role of country HRM is to provide leadership, HR expertise and partnership to the Management team to agree the appropriate Human Capital objectives, metrics, processes and plans to ensure a capable and motivated workforce


1. Develops annual and long term human resources strategies and goals for China operations that are consistent with company business objectives.


2. Responsible for implementing HR strategy in China, and providing consultative services to management on people management issues.

3. Perform HR advisory function, interface with all the product groups and functional leaders in China


4. Develop, coordinate and direct a variety of HR programs inclusive of talent attraction, compensation and benefit, succession planning, performance management, employee communication and training needs analysis for competency and professionalism acceleration.


5. Develop policies and concepts that will be consistent with local labor law and OCI policy. Communicate and train facility HR personnel in China.


6. Build and coach HR team for continuous improvement, actively look for synergies and alignments to improve knowledge sharing and proliferation of best practice within HR. Foster a participative and positive employee philosophy culture.


7. Direct recruiting efforts to complete the staffing assignments to meet business request, as well as to ensure the hiring process in FM China is in compliance with corporate HR Policies and Procedures. Conduct the annual recruitment planning and selection process for senior positions.

8. Develop annual budget for HR Department, and workforce budget for other departments.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


1. BA degree in Business Administration or related field.


2. At least three 8 years experience as a HR generalist in a manufacturing environment and 3 years in management functions, working for JV is a plus.


3. Must possess some experience and a strong commitment to self-directed work teams or Participative Management philosophies.


4. Strong training and development background and experience with skill based compensation systems preferred.


5. Salaried and hourly recruitment experience a must.


6. Working knowledge of employment, labor and safety laws and regulations.


7. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a strong business sense.


8. Excellent communication and presentation skills required.


9. Good command in English.
