We are looking for an innovative and inspirational professional to join our West Chester, Ohio supply site as a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP). As an HRBP, you will provide strategic and operational support to AZ’s overall achievement of business objectives and goals. We need your expertise to counsel our business on site project and goals as they relate to the efficiency of the overall organization and the employee workforce.
Typical Accountabilities:
Partner cross-functionally to guide and assist employees and management with human resources related issues. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, talent and performance management, policy implementation and disciplinary actions.
Demonstrate intentional listening and understanding of department needs and priorities.
Provide HR assistance in matters relating to compensation for hourly and salary personnel.
Provide input into development and refinement of corporate HR policy and program development.
Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures and appropriate industry and regulatory standards, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Support the development of the site business strategy and link the human resources business plan and the functional human resources plan.
Partner with HR Site Lead to develop strategic workforce plans in conjunction with client business group and ensure efficient workforce structure and skills to deliver the business strategy.
Serve as an internal consultant and mentor to leaders, managers, and colleagues on all human resources and people management issues.
Operates independently, raising only the most sophisticated issues and owns delivery of and analytical support for HR activities and programs.
Gathers and analyzes HR and client feedback and diagnoses business/people issues to partner with HR team in developing and implementing HR solutions.
Communicates with internal and external clients to assist in special projects and support other departments in meeting HR management objectives.
Promotes use of MyHR portal and internal shared service centers to solicit HR process/functional advice; and handles critical issues in alignment with the AZ self-service model.
Effectively collaborates with Center of Excellence (COE) process experts and/or local/regional specialists to execute HR processes.
Handles critical personnel and company information with the highest degree of discretion to ensure integrity and confidentiality.
Provide backup support for the HR Site Lead as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree; emphasis in business, human resources, communications, or related field preferred.
5+ years’ experience in human resources or employee relations.
Current knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including federal and state employment laws
Consultancy skills (discovery, problem-solving, developing, and operationalizing business cases) with a track record of establishing rapport and working collaboratively at all levels
Strong analytical skills using trends and metrics to influence, prioritize and evaluate initiatives
Outstanding judgment and the ability to balance the needs of the company, managers, HR team and employees in a quickly growing and sophisticated organization. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Requirements:
Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferable in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical device.
Prior leadership experience.
Experience working with an human resources information system (HRIS), preferably Workday.
