Job Description
Responsibility:To teach Calculus/Pre-calculus/Geometry/Physics to Grade 10-12 students
Curriculum: US COMMON CORE CURRICULUM DEPARTMENT
WORNING HOURS, CLASS SIZE, PAY AND BENEFITS:
a.From Monday to Friday, unless the Chinese government requires labour on Saturdays or Sundays,
b.The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Each class may accommodate up to 25 students. There are up to 25 teaching times each week, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes.
c.The benefits include a 60-minute lunch break, complimentary lunch provided on campus, a monthly stipend for breakfast, and presents from the institution.
d.Full-time job with a one-year contract (renewable).
e.The applicant will enter into an employment agreement directly with the school and will get assistance in applying for work visas and residence permits.
f.The monthly remuneration for the department of MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL is 29,900RMB after tax, including a housing stipend.
i.Extra remuneration for A) for PGCE/SACE/QTS/US teaching license, B) for MASTER/PhD degree, and C) monthly high attendance,
j.A performance incentive of up to 12,000RMB before tax is suggested for July, after the completion of the first year of the contract.
k.Progressive sick days benefits programme as per seniority in the school & the Group's medical insurance in foreign hospital departments in China.
m.National holidays paid: 3-4 days in September for Mid-Autumn festival, 1 week in October for Chinese national holidays, 1 month in January for Chinese New Year/Winter break, 1 week for May Labor celebration, 3-5 days for the Dragon Boat Festival in June, and 7 weeks for summer vacation July. Back to school will place on the 19th of August. Students will start on the 1st of September.
n.For the new recruits, for the 1st year only and depending on the candidate's joining date, half pay for the February salary (winter break) or the August salary (summer vacation) is provided.
o.The applicants must have a valid work visa, and show the letters of release and cancellation as well as the work permit
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for interview and consideration based on a profile:
Applicants for the PRIMARY department must possess the following qualifications:
1.Proficiency in American or Cambridge curriculum is mandatory.
2.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, specializing in special education, elementary education, or secondary education, together with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
3.A candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in ESL/linguistics and a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting.
4.Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English literature, accompanied by 4 years of experience teaching in a classroom setting.
5.Possession of QTS/PGCE/US teaching licence certification is MANDATORY.
6.The candidate must possess a TEFL/TESOL certificate with a minimum duration of 120 hours.
7.The applicant must have substantial teaching experience relevant to the specific subjects and job being sought for.
The applicants for the MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL department must possess the following educational qualifications:
1)Familiarity with either the American or Cambridge curriculum is required.
2)Possession of QTS/PGCE/US teaching license certification is mandatory.
3)Possessing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, STEM, or Biology, along with a substantial 4-year background in teaching.
4)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or Chemistry with 4 years of teaching experience
5)Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, specializing in Calculus or Geometry, along with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
6)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, together with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, is required.
7)The candidate must possess a TEFL/TESOL certificate with a duration of 120 hours.
8)The applicant must have substantial teaching experience in the specific subjects and role they are applying for.
