Starting Date: August 2024;

Position: High School College Counselor position;

Job Duties:
1. Provide counseling support;
2. Be active and accessible in MHS and classrooms (as assigned), as well as the campus, and counseling office;
3. Teach weekly Life Skills for all class sections in grades 9 and 10 as assigned;
4. Plan and prepare lessons weekly for all assigned classes based on the school’s life skills curriculum, including occasional topics as needed as assigned;
5. Maintain Managebac curriculum units for life skills classes for grades 9 and 10;
6. Help grades 9-10 students gain greater awareness of building HS career profiles that support the school's college application program;
7. Meet with parents and teachers when necessary to develop interventions for students with academic or emotional/behavioral needs;

Requirements:
1. Native English speakers;
2. Bachelors' degree in Psychology or Education;
3. At least 2 years' related full-time experience;
