Position: Art Teacher

Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide professional leadership and management for Art Teaching in order to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.
2. Demonstrate extensive subject knowledge, and have the ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their performance and theatre-making skills.
3. Make contributions to whole school strategic direction and development
4. Offer all students a broad, deep, and interconnected education of the Arts to sustain a lifelong understanding, appreciation, and interest.
5. Establishing, communicating, and demanding high expectations for student learning, and quality of work.
6. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required to ensure the efficient and effective running of the school.
7. An ability to offer a subsidiary subject is desirable.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above, a degree in Art, QTS certificate or equivalent
2. 3 years of experience in an international school setting and able to teach IGCSE, AS and A2 Fine Art and/or Art and Design.
3. A genuine passion for teaching art and a commitment to a full and inclusive extracurricular program.
4. Interpersonal and highly efficient leadership skills.
5. Strong multitasking skills.
