Job Description
Job Duties
1. to foster a passion for Maths, an excellent work ethic, and a culture of high expectations in which both staff and students fulfil their potential
2. to oversee curriculum development, lesson planning and schemes of work for the Maths Department
3. to ensure a personalised approach to learning is adopted and a variety of learning models and groupings are used by Maths teachers
4. to have a thorough understanding of the purpose and aims of the school's overall curriculum, and ensure this is communicated effectively
5. to ensure that Maths Teaching & Learning are appropriately aligned with the School’s value added measures
6. to create and update curriculum handbooks and policy documents
7. to participate fully in the co-curricular and school activity programme
8.KS3,4 and 5 (or equivalent); QTS, at least three years’ experience, ability to offer a subsidiary subject desirable
