Your mission and responsibilities: · Conduct workflow analysis and provide recommendation for potential and existing customers for the best fit solution configuration for each customer laboratory based on evidence and data. · Communicates the benefit, workflow improvements, and value monetization of the suggested proposal to laboratory personnel of all levels in a professional manner to help close deals. · Work with the local SHS team to gather the required data to perform automation and instrument assessments using the appropriate tools as provided by the global HCS organization. · Provide in-depth system lifecycle Health Check presentations to ensure that customer goals & KPIs have been achieved. · Identify opportunities for improvement (efficiency, productivity, safety, quality) at customer sites and work with the applications team and directly with customers in showing the benefits of making such improvements to their operations. · Provide internal and customer assistance in transition planning and change management particularly in complete automation installation projects. · Be seen locally as the Siemens expert for process improvement in the laboratory using Lean and other methodologies. · Provide internal and external education, both formally and informally on workflow efficiencies and optimization in the clinical laboratory. · Self educate (attendance at meetings, reading, research) on current issues facing laboratory management and healthcare generally to maintain industry knowledge. Your qualifications and experiences: Degree level qualification in Healthcare Areas, Engineering or related disciplines. Advanced degree with additional qualifications (business / management areas) ideal. More than 8 year in clinical or diagnostic laboratory experience Laboratory management and/or consulting experience ideal Experience in technical support or sales role in the clinical laboratory industry an asset Intermediate levels in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Visio or AutoCAD design tools, experience with other technical IT tools an asset Your attributes and skills: Excellent presentation & communication skills Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies Lead discussions with appropriate management Coaching and mentoring others outside of direct team - both internally and Externally.
