Mission & Main Tasks:

The head of country specific testing ensure that all FBU cars which will be released for the Chinese market are tested to meet the quality standards of AUDI AG.

The main Focus is to test, analyze and give a release recommendation of all the required land specific Functions of the FBU cars and support Vehicle Development and Testing AUDI AG in all related China Issues.

Job Duties:

• Functional and disciplinary management responsibility of the country specific testing department in the sense of AUDI philosophy
• Buildup competence and strategic development within the organizational unit in correspondence with company targets and in agreement with the Director Vehicle Development and Testing
• Responsible for the conception and development of new special testing regarding country specific conditions and requirements
• Responsible for procedure organization and project management incl. review of targets as well as target achievement of defined projects
• Quality assurance within the approved financial budget
• Organization and accomplishment of China specific Test Drives in agreement with Vehicle Development and Testing AUDI AG

Qualifications:

Education:

• A minimum of a Dipl.-Ing. / Master’s Degree in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or similar scientific discipline

Professional skills:

• Very good knowledge in all technical areas of a car
• Basic knowledge in any kind of Vector tools (CAN-analyzer, CAN-Ape...)
• Further practical experience in car electrics (CAN-bus systems)
• Cooperational and goal oriented with proactive working attitude
• Leadership qualities and ability to resolve conflicting situations
• Analytical thinking and self reflection
• Process-oriented
• Planning and well-organized
• Ability to work under pressure

Personal skills:

• Extensive experience in the automotive industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of vehicle development desired

- Preferably team leading experience in a small- to medium-sized team of developers

• Cross-cultural competence is a plus

Language skills :

• Very good English in speaking and writing is mandatory, while knowledge of the German and Chinese language is highly appreciated.
