Job Description

Key responsibilities

Develop personal sale skills to meet the events sales needs and reach your financial targets

Identify opportunities for new events based on your understanding of the needs of financial customers

Build relationships with potential speakers, marketing partners and sponsors, travelling when necessary for face-to-face meetings


Team management

Work with the events sales person to create sales plans for each one

Manage a team of sales for daily training, real-time coaching and pushing to meet their personal goals

Communicate sales plans to the VP and agree the specific task for each sales

Supervise the day to day activity of the sales team to ensure the sales target complementation

Coach the sales team and put in place sales skills and individual development plans for each member


Knowledge, experience and skills required

3 years+ Experience of selling global events

Excellent research and writing skills to explore the features of your event

Experience of sponsor selling skills on events which are aimed at both Chinese and international

Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships

Understanding of how to get the best out of people and to motivate a team

Comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
