Hotel Overview

Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square meter ballroom.

Head of Revenue Management

 

The Head of Revenue is responsible for monitoring, forecasting, and optimizing revenues and profiles across all areas of the hotel while making sure that we deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position oversees the Reservations Department including Reservations Manager with a team. 

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and own initiatives to generate incremental revenue
  • Execute (and assist) with developed rate strategies for all segments 
  • Engages with operational team to identify revenue F&B and Spa opportunities based on internal and external data
  • Ensures ongoing communication with Accor Distribution Services to maximize hotel’s visibility and distribution on direct, GDS, OTA, and other indirect channels
  • Record, maintain and assist with analysis of current/historical/statistical data – ensures monthly build, pace, denials, call volumes are tracked and monitored
  • Ensure that inventory  - brand availability and overbooking – parameters are monitored in Property manager and My Fairmont Reservations, cleaned as necessary, and set up for an efficient check-in, before being turned over to Front Office
  • Ensure daily communication between Reservations and Front Office regarding inventory, short-term sell strategies, Group/Delegation arrivals, sell out strategies
  • Oversee/execute all rate builds within Property Manager
  • Take part in Budget preparation
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous Revenue Management experience is required, preferably in a luxury hotel environment and/or exposure to F&B Revenue Management
  • University/College degree in a related discipline required
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Opera, and RMS (IDeaS or EzRMS)
  • Deep understanding of STR reports and market share analysis
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team 
  • Good presentation and influencing skills 
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures 
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to communicate in English required
