Main responsibilities:

• Lead the operational management and motivate it to outstanding performance, with following responsibilities:
• Production and lean manufacturing: automatic and manual paint shops, Plastic Injection Moulding assembly, maintenance for equipment and tools, operational Quality, Logistics CIM
• Supply Chain: Material requirements planning, scheduling, production planning, material handling, warehousing, short-term capacity planning
• Quality: serial quality assurance, continuous improvement, claim management (supply parts and customer), incoming inspection, measurement department, corrective actions, management system
• Process engineering: develop and optimize the production process, long term capacity planning, definition of production equipment, implementation of production technologies
• Coordinate and optimize Operations & SCM efficiency for cost-saving
• Secure the quality and the delivery performance of the plant to fulfill the customer requirements during serial production
• Support the launch of new products
• Guarantee the manufacturability of the products during the product development phase
• Responsible for the industrialization of new programs
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction over the live time of a product
• Direct report to General Manager, dotted-line report to Head of Operations China
• Perform other duties as assigned

Nationality:

• Chinese/Overseas Chinese

Educational qualification:

• University degree or above, preferably in Engineering or Technology

Working experiences:

• Rich experience in operation management (production, supply chain, maintenance & tooling, process engineering, quality assurance, etc.) in a plant in China in Automotive or related industries
• Strong in manufacturing management, preferably experience within the following fields: automotive electronic components, mechanical locking systems, remote control systems, etc.
• Know-how of assembly, and moulding and painting technology would be a plus
• Understanding of the Q-standards of the automotive industry (e.g., ISO / TS 16949, APQP / VDA 4.3, PPAP / VDA 2, FMEA)
• Methods understanding of "Lean" (e.g. 5S, SMED, value stream mapping, Kanban)
