Then come in and join our team as Head of Legal And Compliance Perú y Ecuador Your mission and responsibilities: The Head of Legal and Compliance will be in charge of developing the Legal and Compliance Strategy In the country or zone. Legal Functions Provide strategic and operational legal and regulatory advice and Governance with the purpose of ensuring integrity and safeguard the values and reputation together and in close collaboration with Compliance (without tax law; employment law depending on Country) Provide independent interpretation of the law and judgement of legal questions Manage and protect against legal risks Provide legal advice and support to Business Areas, Business Horizontals, Regions and Functions Manage claims and litigations, including amicable solutions out of courtCompliance functions Establish and maintain effective compliance management system to ensure global compliance with applicable laws (focus on Anti-Trust, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Data Privacy, Human Rights) to avoid or reduce financial fines, risks of debarment from business and reputational risks and increase brand value by good reputation Develop and implement state of the art compliance strategy and risk management Provide effective tools and processes to check and approve compliance relevant topics Contribute/develop and improve compliance standards/ relevant laws/code of conduct with regulatory stakeholders Train employees and communicate about Compliance on an ongoing basis; support management for tone from the top Conduct internal investigations for compliance cases Handle investigations and information requests by authorities and defend SHS's interests in such proceedings Advise and review all compliance relevant matters in collaborations, interactions with healthcare professionals, sponsoring and hospitality, M&A; channel partners, transparency laws, codes of conduct Manage and supervise operational Data Privacy Topics through the Group Data Privacy Officer Your qualifications and experiences: Degree from an accredited law school Substantial professional experience (min. 5 years) with a mid to large size law firm and/or a significantly sized in-house legal department ideally with a focus on services provision. Basic experience in labor law matters preferred but experience in civil and business is an advan. Experience in managing compliance and risk program activities including policy development and review, audits and assessments, third-party due diligence, investigations of allegations of regulatory and compliance violations, and training initiative.
