This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Head of General Imaging Franchise, Ultrasound: You will lead the strategy and product roadmap for the high-end ultrasound imaging systems. You will leverage their broad leadership, experience, and skills to interface across multiple functional organizations including transducer/catheter development, system/ASIC development, ultrasound engineering, SCM, et al to architect and drive a strategic technology plan for future ultrasound imaging systems. You will be a key contributor to product portfolio planning to help align the technology development with product management and drive confidence in our product vision. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers You have broad technical expertise in all aspects of medical ultrasound imaging including ultrasound beamforming, image formation, signal/image processing, ultrasound physics and advanced modes such as harmonic imaging, contrast-enhanced imaging, elastography, tissue characterization, etc. You have broad knowledge and experience with ultrasound imaging system definition and development including state-of-the-art electronic 4D matrix technology for real-time volume imaging You have an understanding of ultrasound imaging transducer design You have experience leading large globally distributed, culturally diverse engineering teams and driving a collaborative and results-oriented culture You have strong program management skills and knowledge of medical device quality systems requirements and regulatory approval processes You have knowledge of intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) products, technology and applications. You have experience with analog and digital ASIC requirement definition and development for ultrasound imaging applications You have knowledge and experience defining and developing ultrasound front-end system HW/SW requirements including trade-off analysis You have a strong track record of successful commercialization of innovative medical device products You have knowledge of clinical applications of ultrasound imaging including Radiology, Cardiology, Women’s Health, and Point of Care You have knowledge of competitive ultrasound imaging products/technology Current relationships with industry key opinion leaders (KOL’s) and institutions a plus You are adept and disciplined at developing business cases for development projects with a consistent return on investment (ROI) mindset Required skills to have for the success of this role • 15+ years of experience managing engineering organizations w/ 5+ years in a senior management role · BS,MS in Engineering discipline Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
