Position Summary
The position will act as the key consultant to all managed & franchise properties within the region under the assigned brand. To establish, support and maintain relationships with the existing and new hotel owners to ensure the successfully operation for the assigned hotels. To address business issues in a variety of environments, and add true business value in respect to both the WHR Brand concept and the operating business of the Hotel. And to make sure all assigned hotels operating aligned with WHR brand standard & requirement.
Responsibilities
- Strong and effective communication with the owner to ensure the hotel under the assigned brand open smoothly, on target and comply with WHR standard.
- Consult on all aspects of the assigned hotel operation including marketing, human resources, engineering, and food & beverage as well as general operations and aiding in strategic decision making.
- Implement revenue management tools to increase ROI for owners and franchisees and add value to the WHR brand.
- Support the finance team with accounts receivables issues within the assigned hotels to improve the WHR GC financial efficiency.
- Retain the properties with possibilities to quit WHR system and assist Brand Business Development Lead to liaise with the existing properties which contracts will be expiring for contract renewal.
- Provide all necessary training resources for the assigned hotels and ensure the hotels participation & completion of the required trainings according to WHR standard.
- Conduct site visit and inspection to the assigned operating hotels in a regular basis and help the hotels to improve in all fields.
- Act as an “Ambassador of Wyndham” in the field to make sure win-win situation for both WHR & the hotels at all time.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- College degree preferably in Hotel Management, qualification in Business Management is preferred
- Demonstrates the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion. Highly self-motivated, goal oriented and a results driven person.
- Demonstrates great team spirit qualities while being able to work autonomously.
- Ability to travel extensively
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a general manager in the international branded hotels, regional operations experience would be a plus
- Solid knowledge in all hotel operational related fields such as Sales & Marketing, Rooms, F&B, Finance, HR, Engineering etc.
- Superior communication and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English.
Confident, self-motivated and goal orientated.
