Head of Data Science & Governance (Job ID: 2599)

Responsibilities

• To be the voice of data within the bank, drive the strategy of data as a business asset
• To be responsible for the governance adherence and data lifecycle management across the bank
• To manage master data to enhance the bank’s competitiveness and improve customer experience
• To establish data policies, standards, methodologies and tools that fit business needs and comply with regulations and procedures
• To establish and manage data warehousing strategy and infrastructure to ensure safe keeping and efficient management and usage
• To direct and oversee support initiatives to drive improvement in data quality across the bank

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably with a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 12 years’ working experience of which 5 years in managerial level from recognized establishments in financial services and/ or FinTech related industries
• Extensive expertise in data technologies and skills in data modeling from various source systems
• Experience in managing and utilizing large volumes of data, data quality, data governance, data ETL, and data integration tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven people management experience
