Responsibilities:

• To oversee the relevant compliance requirements in the area of banking, securities, insurance, mandatory provident fund scheme, personal data protection related matters, etc.
• To oversee the compliance functions of the Bank’s China and Overseas Branches/Subsidiaries and local subsidiaries in Hong Kong
• To provide compliance advisory support in current and new business initiatives
• To communicate and coordinate with relevant units/departments on regulatory compliance issues
• To assign job responsibilities to staff members within the department

Requirements:

• University graduate in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 15 years’ compliance or relevant experience
• Sound leadership and good attention to detail and can handle multi-tasks and projects concurrently
• Able to exercise judgement, work independently and under pressure
• Strong sense of accuracy and team working ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, pro-active and well-organized
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
