Head of CE&I

Accountabilities

  • Lead the functions of Marketing Excellence, Business Research, Sales Force Effectiveness, Omni-channel marketing, and remote detailing to contribute to the growth of the business through providing strategic direction and guidance to the marketing and sales leadership team.
  • Develop and drive consistent commercial capability building. Primary point of contact and leadership for scoping, management, and ongoing tracking of key Marketing Excellence programs and projects.
  • Identify, analyze, develop and execute internal & external business growth projects, by seeking internal & external business potentials including co-marketing, co-promotion, licensing-in, distribution arrangements, acquisitions, joint venture and other business collaborations.
  • Implement and track of performance as well as on-going issues with internal stakeholders and strategic external partners on a regular basis to review outcomes, changes and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for corporate long-term strategy plan set up and manage/ monitor portfolio performance at company level to ensure achievement of strategic direction and objectives.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and implement company-wide projects, key business plans, activities and issue management by facilitating overall decision-making process on critical BU and cross-functional issues at a monthly KLT/KOC meeting.
  • Develop company-wide marketing training strategies by identifying areas for skills and capability improvement and implement through business research support and project coaching. 
  • Set up a strategic direction of portfolio management at company level in conjunction with both internal & external relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with relevant leaders to support in conducting regular brand reviews to identify issues and opportunities and making effective business decisions.
  • Enhance commercial effectiveness based on platforms and data sophistication.
  • Instill a culture of performance measurement within the marketing organization focusing on business, customer and implementation metrics.
  • Define brand performance management and track to ensure implementation by leading a monthly KPI meeting.
  • Develop business relationships with key partners and provide management with partners' feedback and any other opportunities.
  • Conduct strategic alliance reviews with partners on a regular basis to review outcomes, changes and insights.
  • Provide expertise and coordinating resources to implement business development initiatives and to collaborate with local partners.
  • Integrate & create customized digital engagement platform to increase omnichannel communication with customers and patients.
  • To develop and engage in various field-based innovative digital projects to optimize business opportunities and to reach out to HCPs that can't be covered by existing resources.
  • To explore future opportunities in developing and improving new customer and patient solutions.

Minimum Requirements

  • University Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in market research, business analysis and marketing
  • Experience in management of people
  • Integral knowledge of the pharmaceutical business in the country
  • Demonstrated experience in working in multinational companies and cross-functional environments
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive decisions
  • Ability to structure and solve abstract and complex problems
  • Analytical thinker
  • Effective communication skills at all level, both internally and externally as well as good presentation skills
  • Self-starting approach, creativity and flexibility

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced degree(s) in Business (MBA) or Science
  • Experience in some areas of pharmaceutical sales and marketing
  • Track record of successfully establishing and maintaining business processes
  • Record of success in participation on and in supporting teams
  • Project management skills
