Responsibilities
- To lead and manage to drive the formulation and commercialization of innovation and FinTech strategies aimed at strengthening the bank’s competitiveness in responding to the uplifting of new industry standards and customer expectations along with the competitions introduced by the emerging unconventional FIs in the market place
- To be the advocate for business innovation. Nurture innovative culture, introduce new ways of thinking and working. Drive business innovation through identification/ adoption of suitable FinTech solutions/ new technologies for the bank/ business units to address the identified/ prioritized business objectives and/ or issues
- To follow global innovative trends, pilot and “import” to transform front to back office operations
Requirements
- University graduate, preferably with a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 12 years’ working experience of which 5 years in managerial level from recognized establishments in financial services and/ or FinTech related industries
- In-depth knowledge on business and operation models of banking, with thorough understanding on the local regulatory environment
- Sound understanding on latest market and technology trend and having track record in commercializing and operationalizing innovative business and operating models
- Proven track records of delivering large-scaled digital projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven people management experience
