To play a key leadership role as a member of the Regional Marketing and Admissions Team for China Bilingual on implementing the growth strategy that ensures continual attraction, enrollment and retention of students. You will set all relevant policies, procedures, quality and customer service standards and ensure their delivery to all prospective families and influencers across our family of new and established schools in the region. This position collaborates with our schools to ensure a best in class service oriented sales process, generating enquiries and enrollments that result in FTE growth. The role will ensure that the consideration and purchase phases of the Parent Experience Journey (PEJ) are executed to the highest standards across the region with a focus on achieving FTE numbers. You will be an exceptional leader of people, coaching and develop your Admissions Team to achieve their targets, improve capability and deliver and outstanding Nord Anglia parent experience.
PARENT EXPERIENCE JOURNEY
Adapt and implement the Parent Experience Journey for China Bilingual Region.
Lead, develop and execute best practice throughout the entire PEJ leveraging the global and bilingual toolkit, framework communications and striving for outstanding standards.
- Lead the implementation of our Nord Anglia Admissions Signatures leveraging the global and bilingual toolkit and group examples of best practice.
- Lead the design and delivery of all key touch-points for parents and children throughout the entire PEJ, based on a deep understanding of their needs so that families experience the school’s story and promises in action.
- Contribute to the develop of global best practice by sharing expertise and innovation from the China Bilingual region.
ADMISSIONS
Lead, coach and guide the Regional Area Admissions Managers and the School’s Admissions Teams to deliver annual enrollment targets.
- Develop, execute and regularly monitor marketing, retention and admissions plans.
- Lead and drive strategies to generate enquiries through both online and offline campaigns.
- Develop key processes and lead team to guide parents and students through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward and engaging throughout.
- Drive conversion at each stage of the pipeline by coaching and developing teams to overcome objections, recognize buying signals and close at each step of the process.
- Lead the development of the region’s admissions procedures to adhere to groups policies and local market regulations.
- Lead the understanding of any local regulatory requirements and potential future changes to policies that might have a bearing on the Purchase stage of the Parent Experience Journey and support decision-making in the regional SLT with this knowledge and at a local level to each school’s market.
- Develop pricing strategies in alignment with schools in order to help achieve student enrollment targets such as scholarships and founding family discounts.
- Work with education agents and education portals and sites to maintain visibility across both online and offline channels working in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Regional DAM for China Bilingual.
REPORTING AND DATA ANALYSIS
Lead, coach and develop the regional and school teams to maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision making through the enrollment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning.
- Oversee data capture and lead management through CRM and ensure that teams adhere to NAE business rules in relation to data capture and management.
- Lead the review of school enrollment data to identify opportunities and risks and develop plans to unlock and mitigate.
- Lead the deployment of a school enrollment forecast model aligned to regional and global processes to facilitate forecast discussions with key stakeholders in the school and at regional and central levels.
- Contribute best practice share to the central support CRM team and act as a key point of regional contact for new release development.
EXTERNAL OUTREACH
Devise and lead an outreach programmes to energize the external network of the NAE China Bilingual and to position the schools as the first choice within the markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key account holders including but not limited to business organisations, banks and financial institutions, chambers, education agents, feeder schools, training centers and employers, with the intent to build brand awareness and generate enquiries.
- Develop the stakeholder map and contact strategy for the region and schools, bringing in other senior leaders as appropriate and develop all communications materials to be used with the external network.
- Work to develop opportunities that go beyond the individual school local community and extend nationally across the China Bilingual region.
- Contribute best practice share to global discussions around external outreach and the development of processes, toolkits and templates for the organisation.
With the Regional DAM, develop the annual strategic admissions plans for the China Bilingual region and for the schools
- Analysis of prior year performance
- Development of strategies and tactics for the coming year
- Proposal of resourcing (headcount and budgets) required to deliver the proposed plans
LEADERSHIP, COACHING & TRAINING
Provide appropriate leadership, coaching and best practice sharing to Regional Admissions Team, School Admissions Teams, the Principals, SLT, academic faculty and global MAC team.
- Lead, coach and develop regional and school Admissions Team members to deliver against targets.
- Support the Principals at schools to develop a culture where the school engages as one and works to ensure admissions is a whole school responsibility.
- Contribute regularly to leadership team discussions about retention and student enrolment numbers and discuss how to evolve the processes by which we encourage both to improve.
- Contribute to the wider business through sharing and application of best practice in admissions.
- Post regularly on MAC CHAT to share best practice and learn & reapply from others.
- Lead, drive and support business development opportunities.
- Work as a key member of the global Admissions team with the Group Head of Admissions to develop best practice and set the standard for Nord Anglia admissions.
Requirements:
§ Evidence of relevant sales and marketing experience / roles
§ 10+ years of experience in a Sales role with demonstrated success in growing / increasing sales in a competitive market
§ Chinese and excellent level of English
§ Experience of high level networking to build creative and mutually beneficial relationships that positively impact on strategic and tactical business development
§ Understanding of and the ability to build strong customer advocacy and repeat client loyalty and retention
§ Experience of having worked within a service delivery sector, education sector experience a bonus
§ Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage a team to achieve and succeed desired outcomes
§ Strong analytical skills and proven record of using data and research to support initiatives undertaken
§ Ability to build, manage and motivate cross functional high performing teams
§ Experience of working with CRM systems and integration with the sales life cycle
§ Experience in monitoring competitor market activity
§ Experience in using digital and social media trends and tools to influence the sales life cycle
