As a Hardware R&D Engineer you will be responsible for all the research and development activities, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.

Reporting to the R&D Team Manager you will be responsible for the electronics hardware related development and technical support.

Your responsibilities

• Developing hardware test solutions, completing hardware testing, and debugging
• Working with SCM in material sourcing and evaluation, AVL component and supplier setup
• Completing relevant documentation in the product design process, e.g. module requirement specification, module design verification, production test specification
• Maintaining the design and updating according to the requirement

Your background

• 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware development
• Familiar with MCU design application (like Power PC, ColdFire, ARM and the peripheral circuit on SDRAM, FLASH etc), analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, EMC/EMI focus, and communication protocols (like Modbus, CANBUS etc.)
• Experience on sensor application, data monitoring and diagnose is preferred and wireless communication is a plus, eg. ZigBee, WIFI, 5G, Bluetooth
• Familiar with the hardware design tools like PADS, altium designer, international standard (IEC, ANSI, GHOST, …) and ability to perform the setup and analysis of the result during the type tests (EMC and Environmental)
• Sound knowledge on embedded electronic design, power electronics and integration in MV apparatus and switchgear
• Fluency in English communication and availability to cooperate with international team
• Must have the ability to communicate and coordinate, pay attention to cooperation, and withstand certain work pressure and skilled working in Microsoft office
