Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities: · As a hardware engineer, specific Responsibilities are; - Design detail and implementation of drive control PCB including component selection, circuit design of power conversion circuit like Inverter/Converter. - Design detail and implementation of the electrical components of drive like EMI filter, Line Reactor, Cooling system, Contactors, Wiring Harness. - General electrical engineering support, including conducting tests in test towers or jobsites. - Creation of detailed documentation, including requirement specifications, design documentation, user’s manuals, etc. - Develop the test plan for electrical components - Create test environments and test tools to enable efficient performance and reliability testing - Execute test procedures and document the results - Perform other duties as assigned and requested Accountability & measures: · Job performance will be measured in accordance with; - Correct and efficient performance of the tasks - Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time and cost - Support others to achieve departmental work objectives - Creation of patent and innovation idea - Customer satisfaction Work experience & skills requirements: · Minimum 3 years of design work experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree related to power electronics engineering. · At least 1 year work experience in global company. · Experiences in PCBA design by enhanced PCBA design tool like Cadence · Experiences of electrical circuit simulation tools like P-spice, PSIM, Matlab · Familiarity with electrical component characteristic for selection · Demonstrated ability to identify and deploy new technologies · Language: CET-6 and above. Good in written and oral English · Computer Skills: o Microsoft office tool set · Other Key Competencies: o Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented o Creative and open mind, work hard and energetic o Good interpersonal and communication skills o Logical thinking and pro-active · Preferred Requirement: o General knowledge on Elevator/Escalator industry o Experiences in VFD Application o Experience of robust design. o Familiar with benchmarking and strategic analysis. o Familiarity with benchmarking and strategic analysis. o Familiarity with the Safety Certification by TUV and CSA codes
