Reports to: Secondary School Coordinator
A highly qualified and certified teacher responsible for delivering specific course content.
Teachers provide instruction, support and guidance, manage thelearning process and focus on
students'individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress through learming management
system, and they work actively with students and parents to advance learning, the teacher is
expected to contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracuricular activities, and to uphold the school's mission and values.Candidates should have a commitment to fostering a culturally diverse and inclusive environment.As part of their regular teaching responsibilities,
teachers are expected to fulfill duties in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
- Plan,prepare,and deliver English language arts lessons to high school students.
-Develop students'abilities in reading,writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Assess and record students'progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.-Participate in school events and activities
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in English, Literature or a related field.
- Teaching certification in English Language Arts.
-2or more years of full time, school based, teaching experience related in ELA
- Experience teaching at the high school level, preferably in an intemational setting.- Proficient in teaching American curriculum.
