Objectives of job
To work in partnership with designated business areas to improve organizational and individual performance.
The HR consultant is the primary point of contact providing all levels of managers/supervisors and employees
Support and advice on all aspects of HR such as: Disciplinary, Grievances, Investigations, contractual terms and policies, employment law etc as well as HR administration and Payroll support.
Principle activities
Recruitment according to the requirements of business
Ensure that all working practices and activities meet all of our legal obligations as an employer.
Proactively identify operational issues and opportunities & make improvements in the end-to-end professional HR service provision.
Confidence to manage people issues including difficult and sensitive issues.
To advise and support on all Employee Relations issues affecting the business including re-organization, sickness absence, disciplinary, capability, grievance meetings, poor performance etc.
To take positive steps to minimize employee litigation and assist with conflict resolution and to provide support and counseling to individuals experiencing organizational restructuring, change, redundancy etc.
Steer and support the personnel selection process in cooperation with the functional department and with recruiting
Conduct personnel selection meetings and make hiring decisions in cooperation with the functional departments and recruiting for defined employee groups
Support and advise employee in individual/selected HR-related topics.
Job Requirement:
Professional/graduate education usually acquired through a bachelors degree or professional certification with limited experience or advanced vocational/technical training with several years of on-the-job training
5-10 years professional experience within HR
Very good knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations
Computer literate – Windows, Microsoft Office, SAP would be beneficial
Very good English (speaking, writing, reading) German is a plus
Willing to work under pressure and as part of a team
