Job summary: This role will report to Head of HR and focus on the followings:

The HR Manager will work closely with Head of HR to play a key role in aligning the human resources strategy to business goals.  This role will be critical in building organizational capabilities by attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining talents within the organization.  This role will also be responsible for HR management functions to support local affiliate to meet company policies and practices, and local legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customized organizational and people solutions to support managers for ensuring alignment with business strategy and HR strategy
  • Act as a key advisor and coach to managers on the people implications of business strategy 
  • Manage the talent sourcing process in partnership with hiring managers to ensure the right supply of talent at the right time 
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of talent through career and succession planning process 
  • Understand key business processes to ensure HR initiatives add value to business goals 
  • Build and maintain knowledge of the company’s products, markets, and business-financial model 
  • Contribute to HR policy development and/or review 
  • Ensure a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures-policies, and monitor compliance with legal and statutory requirements 
  • Manage employee life cycle with the support from COE and HR Ops 
  • Develop and continually review systems, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient and effective processes and the minimization of risk. 
  • Partner with managers and provide support and guidance of all HRM practices
  • Manage the talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, assessment, and selection of qualified talent.
  • Build local training & development programs and assist with local training implementation, event coordination and training vendor liaison
  • Manage performance review process (goal setting, mid-year check-in, year-end review)
  • Manage monthly payroll by reviewing and analyzing pay data by global partnering vendors
  • Annual C&B review with regional C&B team (overall C&B status, salary band and allowances revision)
  • Lead local HR programs including new joiner on-boarding, employee engagement activities and general HR communications
  • Other projects or related job tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Psychology, Sociology, HR, Business Administration, or similar degree
  • 5 or more years of human resource management experience covering a variety of functions such as rewards, staffing, training, talent management
  • Experience in multinational pharmaceutical company is a plus
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
