Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop Sales opportunities in your defined territory and work with approved partners to successfully meet your sales targets
  • Develop, execute and deliver a territory plan that meets the defined sales targets including but not limited to the required specific industry focus
  • Develop business plans with the appropriate partners in your region to help execute a successful territory plan and deliver the defined sales targets
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle with your partner to ensure the right resources are leveraged within the partner and Oracle to successfully secure the customers business
  • Work with the aligned partner to ensure we present clear customer outcomes as part of each sales cycle.
  • In this role your will need to be able to confidently articulate and present Oracle’s vision, and our vision for HCM to a broad variety of stakeholders – prospects, customers, partners and influencers
  • Manage and continuously grow Oracle’s SaaS revenue through channel partners
  • Provide support and guidance to help your channel partners develop their business plans
  • Proactively identify new potential partners and work with partner recruiting to win them over
  • Proactively support partners during sales activities and engagements to customer C-level executives
  • Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationships with your partners
  • Provide ongoing education/information to channel partners
  • Demonstrateinitiative, creativity &  collaboration to support our partners and prospects
  • Clearly understand and articulate Oracle’s SaaS products and services
  • Liaise with the Oracle and partner ecosystem, including Oracle Consulting, Sales Consulting, Alliance & Channel, Customer Success, Oracle Partners and Support organizations to resolve issues for customers

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure the use of the internal tools and processes to provide the data required to successfully manage and forecast sales (OSC, Customer Connect, etc)
  • Research and communicate current industry/digitalization trends, drivers and potential.
  • Translate Oracle's Strategy and Marketing Messages to your customer and partner base
  • Produce an accurate weekly forecast and pipeline using appropriate internal systems.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with other Oracle LOBs to ensure resources are available when required.
  • Maintain awareness of partner competence and capability with focus on delivering customer value through the entire customer lifecycle
  • Operate in line with Oracle's business processes and procedures
  • Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations
  • Attend relevant industry/subject forums/professional associations for competence building

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience selling SaaS, other Cloud solutions or consulting services to a C-level customer group, from lead nurturing to deal closing, we will look for understanding of the full sales cycle and your involvement in it.
  • Knowledge of and experience working in collaboration with channel partners / resellers
  • Ability to create business plans with partners and help executing against them
  • Business savvy with ability to build credibility at the C-Level
  • Well-developed professional with excellent solution selling, negotiation and ability to influence skills
  • Passion to track digital and industry trends and understand their implications for customers
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing organization, with a dynamic leadership team
  • Comfortable working in an organization based on trust and openness – being empowered to speak up and every day try to improve how we work and how we put customers first
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in a Nordic language and English.

Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space.

As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship. Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience within the high technology industry. Previous marketing experience desired. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Knowledge of Oracle field sales cycle and partner program. Ability to travel as needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
