The role will oversee all refrigerated display cases, refrigerators, cold storage and its refrigeration system performance of Dairy Farm of all assets business portfolio in Hong Kong and SEA region; act as refrigeration subject matter expertise and core contact point for FM stakeholders within Dairy Farm Group and external parties.

The Job

• As in-house refrigeration subject matter expertise and key manager / appraiser of all MEP related and energy saving initiatives across stores, Distribution Centre, Fresh Food centre and food processing and production logistic
• interface with outsources FM service providers, contractors and Dairy Farm Group to manage preventive maintenance measures, repair and maintenance, system improvement / enhancement strategies of the refrigeration system and equipment and ensure timely program deliverables within budget
• Manage contractors and ensure their performance meet with the required / agreed service levels, KPIs and compliance with statutory requirements and the system requirements while optimizing for energy efficiency, cost and serviceability
• Support and appraise analysis of the requirements and specification of the system improvement / enhancement project and determine the cost involved
• Provide technical support to food safety audit and expertise recommendation
• Prepare internal submission for the operational expenses and capital expenditure
• Occasional travel is needed

The Person

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in chiller plant / refrigeration system repair and maintenance
• Experience in managing sizable retail store portfolio is a definite advantage;
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English;
• Strong communication skills to engage in technical discussions with cross-functional team
• Exceptional negotiation and project management skills
