Position: Global Perspectives and Research Course for High School students
The Global Perspectives Teacher will be responsible for defining the scope and sequence of the Year 1 course to deliver consistent cohesive, effective instruction that prepares students for the core Research curriculum at VMA. The Research Course Teacher will be responsible for refining the scope and sequence of VMA research courses to deliver consistent, cohesive, effective instruction that prepares students for both the upper level of VMA's academic program, and also the demands students will face in college and beyond.

Working Hours. Monday to Friday 7:50am-4:40pm。25 teaching hours per week
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in humanities and social sciences, such as history international relations, sociology, education, English, etc. (Master's degree preferred)
Teaching certification or license appropriate to the grade level Experience teaching global perspectives, research, or related subjects
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and action planning to improve student learning outcomes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with students Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and effective manage multiple tasks
