The Program Group Manager is accountable for the direct operational oversight of all critical end-to-end program management components including strategy, compliance and controls, delinquency management, charge back and write-off processes, country card limit management, acquisition and approval processes, service delivery/end-user escalations, process automation, management systems, databases, metrics and reporting. Global program scope: 50,000 cardholders in 47 countries: Annual global spend $350+ million.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement global program strategy
- Identify and mitigate program risk
- Leverage innovation to drive program transformation/automation/self-service
- Drive adherence to standardized operational processes
- Monitor and drive policy compliance
- Manage and reduce delinquency and write-off activity
- Manage global service delivery
- Facilitate timely issue resolution
- Manage global and regional stakeholders relationships/partnerships
- Manage supplier relationships
- Manage program communication
- Manage program expansion
- Develop and facilitate end-user training programs
- Define, develop and monitor key performance metrics
- Develop and lead management presentations and program attestations
- Manage a global team
- Provide project leadership
- Monitor project/progress
- Establish team goals and objectives
- 10 years in of relevant experience in global program management
- Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced problem solving and decision making capabilities
- Strong analytical, financial, organizational, project and time management skills
- Flexible, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Able to establish relationships with and influence all levels of management
- Confident and assertive in order to influence all levels of management and escalate issues in a clear and constructive manner
- Demonstrates a sense of ownership and responsiveness and takes the initiative to drive results every day
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical for this position
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills are critical for this position
- Proficient technical skills covering all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
