The later is world market leader in the development, production and sales of a printed specialty papers called Tipping Paper. The global network of affiliated companies ensures worldwide service and highest quality standards for its customers. TANN LONGYOU is situated in Longyou, Zhejiang Province.
We are currently searching for a:
General Manager (m/f/x)
You will be based in Longyou and leading a team of approx. 160 pax. You will cooperate and coordinate closely with the General Manager of our second Chinese affiliate, TANN SHANGHAI. A Vice GM Sales and potentially a Vice GM for Finance and Controlling will assist you as members of the local top management team.
- Leading and guiding all local Department Heads (around 12 pax) and improving their coordination and cooperation
- High focus on production and product quality and stability
- Getting actively involved in improving efficiency and accuracy as well as cleanliness on the production floor and throughout the whole company
- Strong coordination with the Managing Directors of TANNPAPIER GmbH
- Implementation of the management goals set up by the Board and the Managing Directors of TANNPAPIER GmbH
- Reporting to the Shareholders, planning and arranging of the annual Board Meetings
- Representation of TANN towards external stakeholders such as governmental authorities etc.
Your tasks
- 10 years or above of management experience at an international company in China
- Excellent leadership skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Ideally work experience at a printing operation
- Detail – oriented with hands on mentality
- University degree
- Willing to spend a big part of your time at the operation to thoroughly study, crosscheck, understand and improve the figures you are getting from your team
- Readiness to work OT and serve as role model for the whole company (e.g. overlooking a sample production even if it is on a weekend)
