General Humanities Teacher in Shanghai

Job Description
The school is looking for the following subjects Teachers to deliver high school courses (Grade 10, 11 and 12) for the three-year high school international programs in Shanghai and Beijing. All the positions will start in late Aug 2019.
1.Assimilation and Difference in American Society - Shanghai Campus
2.Colloquy (Critical Thinking, logical reasoning, persuasive argumentation, philosophical thinking, intellectual conversational skills etc.) - Shanghai Campus
3.ESL - Beijing campus
4.A-Level English - Shanghai Campus
5.General humanities filler - Shanghai Campus
The school, with its headquarters in Amsterdam and two subsidiaries in Shanghai and Beijing, is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote education exchange and cooperation between China and Europe, as well as the rest of the world.
Requirements:
1. Good command of English. Must be a native English speaker.
2.A minimum of an appropriate Bachelors degree or equivalent diploma.
3. At least two years experience in the subject teaching.
4. Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
5. Initial training and orientation is required before commencing teaching.
6. TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate with practicum or teaching license / certifications
Function Description:
1. Teaching the subject to Chinese high students enrolled in our three-year American style international program in Yangpu or Baoshan District, Shanghai.
2. Assigning appropriate homework and correcting homework on time.
3. Developing and using suitable supplementary materials as necessary.
4. Using audio / video materials in classes as necessary.
5. Supervising students and monitoring students’ learning progress.
6. Adjusting and differentiating instruction to meet the learning needs of students.
7. Preparing and marking examinations.
8. Leading students’ extra-curricular activities.
9. Participating in related teaching activities organized by the school.
Benefits:
The salary is RMB 23000-30000 before tax (full pay on summer and winter vocations) and is negotiable based on education background and teaching experience. A work and residency permit and expat health care plan will be provided.
