職務說明

• Will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for counseling the business on a broad range of commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.
• Will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, helping launch new media services and offerings, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
• Work closely with the other international members of management team but also supported by external counsel, you will be primarily responsible for implementing their legal global strategy and providing advice for all commercial, corporate, marketing, litigation, regulatory and policy matters in the global scene.
• Be the primary point of contact for the business and will advise on a wide array of legal and regulatory matters, including commercial deals, strategic advisory matters, marketing campaigns, privacy and consumer protection issues.
• Be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and assessing laws and regulations providing timely advice regarding their implications to operations.
• Need to understand, interpret and apply current laws applicable to ever-expanding business as well as pro-actively identifying what is coming around the corner and mitigating legal risks.
• Be an effective business partner to the business - the country managers, operations teams and product teams, on key initiatives across the world.
• Effectively and efficiently manage outside counsel to handle contentious matters and achieve regulatory and policy objectives.

• 8+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with some part of that supporting digital media, content, or e-commerce space.
• Law degree in prestigious institutes and admitted to the US or TW bar.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage teams and act as a business partner to business teams.
• Outstanding legal and business judgment; Strong strategic organizational and project management skills, drafting, negotiation, analytical, management and leadership skills.
• Excellent English language skills that include the ability to draft and negotiate contracts.

• Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and to work well with all levels of employees and management.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a reputation for delivering results.

• Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, dedication to follow through and meet deadlines.

• Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
