Job Description:

  • Ensure accurate registration of guests, room assignment, reservations and details; prepare keys, collect payments and provide appropriate hotel orientation when necessary according to MGM standard
  • Be knowledgeable of Hotel information to effectively and confidently answer guest inquiries.
  • Provide a welcoming statement and deliver personalized service to all hotel guests by having genuine interest in guest preferences, wishes and expectation personally and through telecommunications .
  • Answer telephone using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one’s voice, using the callers’ name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages and allowing the caller to end the call according to MGM standard.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year or above related experience at 4 to 5 stars international hotels is preferred.
  • H igh school diploma or equivalent .
  • Excellent language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin .
  • Full conversant with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
  • Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays .
