We're looking for someone to take a lead role in the design and development of rich web-based user interfaces to support a major redesign for the next generation of our product, and beyond.

In this role you will:
- Dive deep into our product, leading the user interface development in critical new feature areas
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product management and other software engineers to design a state of the art user experience for our customers
- Work with a global team, including key staff located in Canberra, Australia
- Understand the components of the market leading Intelligent Advisor application, its configuration, and how to extend it to add new capabilities
- Troubleshoot issues in close collaboration with other teams within Oracle
- Adopt best practices for automated testing and continuous software delivery
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3-10+ years hands on commercial experience
- Front-end UI Experience with responsive and/or mobile design
- Experience with UX design
- Mastery of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience working with agile processes e.g. Scrum
- Knowledge of version control e.g. Git

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
