KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Producing insightful, sharable, innovative China content in news feature format to be watched by tens of millions of western viewers, both online, on TV, and via international news wire services.
• You are expected to complete the production process independently to produce both high and low budget video content according to briefs delivered by the production director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Considerable work experience in TV/video production (or at least 3-10 years work experience in a TV/video production or broadcasting institution) is required.
We’re looking for someone who is very innovative and experienced with “hands on” work – comfortable both producing and thinking on a very high/strategic level, but who can also shoot pieces when given the proper support. Experience with editing and post-production workflows is a must.
Native-English speaking professionals are preferred and because the content generated will be almost entirely China-related, written and spoken (Mandarin) Chinese is a big advantage.
