The Fraud Ops Specialist 3 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in efforts to ensure fraud risk policy and controls are applied to minimize the impact of fraud incidence and prevent loss in coordination with the Fraud Operations team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in managing fraud losses by ensuring analysts make appropriate decisions using risk/reward balance methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customers based on established procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues directly with clients, or third parties
- Navigate multiple processing systems
- Direct the verification and investigation process
- Develop and maintain and understanding of how actions impact the bottom line
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a related role
- Experience in Fraud preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred (financial services, call center, retail, etc.)
- Ability to interpret data and organize information
- Experience working in fast-paced, structured work environment
- Proficiency with Windows based applications with the ability to navigate multiple processing systems
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and make judgmental decisions based on general policy or regulatory guidelines
- Ability to meet established performance and quality standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
