Job Description
Foreign Oral English teacher
Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver English lessons as a compulsory course;
Make appropriate teaching plans according to the levels of the students;
Assesses students’ performance and provides feedback;
Maximum teaching hours: 20 per week (Monday to Friday);
Attend staff meetings in order to remain current about educational policies, special
procedures and fully understand the teaching requirement;
Office hour: No;
Textbook provided: Yes (Expanding on the basis of vocational English teaching materials or Teacher can choose another Chinese based textbook textbook by
themselves);
Student age: 16-18 (Senior1-Senior2)
No Chinese assistant available
Must be willing to become involved with the life of the school. Selection Criteria:
Native speaker from UK or America;
Bachelors degree or equivalent. A postgraduate degree is optional and will enhance your conditions of employment;
Good image temperament, extrovert personality ,strong communication skills and love students.
Teaching experience required, high school teaching experience required;
English teaching qualification such as TESOL or TEFL certificate;
Give lessons focusing on Student’s listening, speaking, reading and writing etc. and
improve their Oral English abilities;
Other requirements: Chinese preferred;
Compensation:
Monthly salary 15,000(in RMB yuan) depending on qualifications and experience
Monthly housing allowance 3,000(in RMB yuan)
Comprehensive medical and accident insurance while you are employed in China
11 days public holiday per year, plus school breaks;
Reimbursed residence permit, and obligatory medical check-up.
Regular teaching training supplied by Haida and your school.
