We are a well establish staple of the Canberra dininig scene known for authentic and regional Italian cuisine. Peppers Gallery is a boutique style hotel within the Accor portfolio and caters to both the leisure and corporate travellers. This 4 star heritage listed building is nestled in the popular cultural precinct of New Acton and offers individual charm and personable hotel service.

We are currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our busy and well established venue.

The Role

This is the ideal oportunity for a aspiring leader to have real input to the business and develop the foundations of their management skill set. You will hold the following main responsibilities within this varied role among many more: 

• Lead and manage the restaurant and bar service periods, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided at every opportunity
• Collaborate with the Restaruant Manager and Head Chef regarding menu creation
• Generating increased customer spend through the planning, implementing and activation of promotions and upsell strategies
• Assist with Food & Beverage Admin such as rosters, ordering, stock control and reporting
• Handle any escalated guest complaints to a guest focussed solution
• Support a positive, inclusive and supportive team culture whilst also ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation

About You

You will be a hands on leader who thrives when in amongst the hustle and bustle of service. You will also:

• Previous supervisory expereince in Al A Carte
• Bring solid beverage knowledge including wine and cocktails
• Demonstrated experience in motivating, inspiring, training and developing colleagues
• Possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
• Unlimited Australian work rights with the ability to work a varied roster including weekends, public holidays, mornings and evenings.
