The FP&A Analyst/ Associate provides strategic and technical support to the CEO, CFO and executive management on company-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. This position plays a critical role in developing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, preparing financial statements, analyzing and explaining variances, forecasting monthly and quarterly sales, developing and reporting key performance indicators, and evaluating opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the company’s Excel and Tableau-based financial models
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
• Prepare financial statements and commentary for management and the board
• Prepare comparative financial statements and analyze variances
• Forecast monthly and quarterly sales
• Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze sales, margins, and costs in support of growth and profit improvement
• Provide ad hoc business analysis and projects
• Perform additional duties as directed

Required Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Strong aptitude for numbers and quantitative reasoning; excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and critical-analysis abilities; able to skillfully gather, analyze, and interpret data; able to clearly explain conclusions
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Tableau; proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills; able to build strong relationships and maintain rapport
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and also work effectively on a team
• Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills; able to multi-task effectively
• High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality

• Financial Analyst/variance analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
