Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and monitor the overall cost and resource allocation, cost frame, forecast and result
• Contribute in establishing the benchmark of efficiency development and optimization of the given financial and headcount frames
• Responsible for accurate and timely monthly cost reporting and analysis for both Category and Purchase Operations teams
• Responsible for bi-monthly reporting in Cognos Controller of Actual and Forecasted Costs
• Monitor Accounts receivable based on information received from accounting; Act on potential deviations
• Responsible for finance screening & legal & financial due-diligence of suppliers (e.g. during supplier start-up process)
• Support and train business development teams within area of Financial Basics Knowledge and Supplier Finance working methods

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of IKEA Strategic Landscape, especially Purchasing Strategy
• Deep understanding of how your everyday work adds customer value by delivering to business results
• Deep knowledge of market specific conditions and macro economics trends
• Deep knowledge of IKEA Financial Manual Good knowledge of IKEA Purchasing Manual
• Understanding of Purchase Agreement Package and Product Development Agreement
• Understanding of IKEA Purchasing Year Cycle and Governance Structure
• Good financial knowledge (University degree in Economics or corresponding knowledge)
• Understanding of country-specific financial legislations
• Deep knowledge of controlling, budgeting and reporting
• Knowledge of business information tools
• Ability to priorities and perform multiple tasks on an operational level with great attention to details
• Capability to perform analysis, drawing conclusions to support the right decisions
• Ability to ensure conformity with routines, compliance and legal requirements
• Ability to work in a structured and organized way
• Capability to communicate in a clear way and build relationships
• Ability to quickly develop knowledge of business conditions and take decisions based on this information
