Financial Analyst (MNC Retailer)

Our client is a world's leading Retailing brand with international presence. They have more than 70 products in over 50 countries. We are seeking a talented individual to join them as a Financial Analyst to work closely with the growing team.

Position Responsibilities

• Report to the FP&A Manager
• Coordinate and work closely with team to support Finance/Business planning cycles including Budget, Estimate, strategic plans including Balance Sheet, P&L and cash flow
• Consolidate and prepare monthly accounting process including financial reporting aligned with group deadlines
• Prepare actual operating performance and analysis with high level of accuracy for effectively understanding
• Monitor balance sheet review and provide ratios analysis for variance from budget or deterioration in performance focusing on inventory and receivables, etc.
• Prepare and provide analysis for insightful recommendations on expenses, CAPEX, advertising promotions spending as well as budget exceptions
• Implement/Follow-up on appropriate procedure to monitor Internal Control compliance to ensure following Group requirement
• Assist in access and evaluate IT needs for reporting
• Work closing with FP&A Manager and other teams to drive opportunities for improvement in efficiency
• Liaise with Service Hub and Region to provide financial information and analysis
• Any kind of any ad hoc analysis, presentations, project as needed

Position Requirements

• Qualified accountant or a degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 1 to 2 years experience of FP&A
• Highly organized, self-motivated and responsible
• Ability to act as business partner and to work with all levels across different functions effectively and efficiently
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Ability to work independently, strong result-orientated and hands-on
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
