As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for supporting various Local Business Line Project Manager in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive project performance, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Controlling & Planning Manager, you will check project invoices, coordinating cash application with shared services, submitting bank draft for discounting or endorsement.

Your responsibilities

• Facilitating with order booking. Forecasting for Revenue, Gross Margin and OCF
• Checking project invoices, coordinating cash application with shared services, submitting bank draft for discounting or endorsement
• Completing various reporting packages. Performing periodic stock count
• Supporting Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Reviewing project Income Statement and relevant Balance Sheet items, including Backlog, SIE/BIE, WIP, Work Due, provision, etc.
• Providing input to the Project Manager on claim management, back-charges and insurance cases
• Supporting the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, country specific finance directives and instructions

Your background

• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, project accounting knowledge preferred
• Inter-personal skills to interact with project management team and various other functions
• Sound Knowledge of SAP
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance as basic qualification. Accounting Designation preferred or Engineering background is a plus.
• Fluency in English
