Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis

• Preparation, reporting and analysis of financial results and key operational metrics
• Provide insights and financial highlights to key stakeholders to drive business performance
• Provide support to cost center managers on expenditure and cost control. Partner with operation team to review and track cost savings projects (PPI)
• Design and develop reports and dashboards and other analysis tools

Forecast and Annual Operating Plan

• Work closely with stakeholders to prepare and submit monthly forecast and annual operating plan using PLN (Hyperion Planning)

Costing and Inventory

• Responsible for costing and inventory month end closing activities and reports submission
• Prepare Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis report and support E&O management. Regular meetings with stakeholders to review E&O inventory and recommend actions to prevent and reduce E&O
• Work with warehouse team to ensure Cycle Count Program adhere to company policy. Including witness of cycle count and approving cycle count sheets.
• Annual review & follow-up on all material standard cost deviations after standard cost roll update
• Compute & update annual/ ad hoc transfer pricing
• Key contact to auditors for costing and inventory related matters

Others

• Support on inventories and cost related issues and financial analysis requests
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 3-4 years of cost accounting & planning experience
• Good Microsoft Excel, Financial Modelling and Dashboard Reporting skill; knowledge of Syspro and Hyperion Planning an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication
• Able to work independently
