Job Description
  • Counter Management (VM/Supplier/Inventory/Shipment/Supervision)


  • Inventory Management
  • Set up a communication system of incoming stock and process of getting the stock on counter in Haikou
  • Discontinuation inventory and expired products clearance implementation and tracking
  • Track discontinuation and clearance scheme performance
  • Track in coming shipment from office or DC into stores and keeping AC informed
  • Keep very close eyes to our stocks situation and update ASM / AC regularly
  • Track OOS in order to coordinate with operation and partners for locating stock


  • Newness / Launch / VM
  • Track what newness shall be on counter
  • Execute product launches planogram
  • Track and implement marketing material usage
  • Make sure every details of the store is aligned with VM guideline, from backwall planogram, to end cap / launch tester display, to details like comband
  • Take the lead to design effective merchandising and change planogram when necessary
  • Coordinate with AC, store and BAs for opening merchandising and operation
  • Follow up planogram to make sure they are within brand guideline
  • Execute Go To Market Plan VM guideline / focus of the month


  • Counter Maintenance
  • Execute especial event and special launches planogram
  • Report maintenance issue timely and arrangement with contractor
  • Make sure the counter is neat and tidy
  • For LaMer: Liaise with Fish Tank maintenance people to ensure that the fish tank is in good condition at all times
  • Feedback testers sufficiency
  • Monitor for counter supplies i.e hygiene tools / brother tape (e.g. cotton pads/sticks, dry/wet tissue, other hygiene essentials are provided)


  • Sales Management
  • Execute and track Monthly Mechanics, Retail Sales Target, Core Item Target and Average transaction amount target by BA; analyze and review goal attainment and develop strategies to improve performance
  • Be a role model to sell and serve customers in the store
  • Hold weekly briefly to CM, BAs and GS to go through targets, achievement rate tracking, mechanics and incentive scheme, monthly focus and new program execution
  • Make Sure BA grooming are up to standard and according to grooming calendar
  • Supervise BAs/GS execution on counter and make sure staff deliver consistent, excellent customer service in accordance with our standards
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere geared to achieving sales and profit goals
  • 2.Marketing Programs

  • Competitors’ Tracking
  • Getting competitor's info from field on total retail sales, newness performance, staff movement, new product launch and innovation


  • Marketing newness/GWP
  • Execute Go To Market Plan new product launches and GWPs. Track sample + GWP usage and provide feedback
  • Track incentive release with AC, SE&P Mgr and operation
  • Implementation of BAs' and operations' incentive scheme, including communication of promotion mechancis to field, and ordering of incentives
  • HPP / On counter Promotion / Event coordination with AC, store and contractor; make sure that on-counter promotions are executed timely
  • Drive and participat in on-counter event
  • Monitor and provide comment on new product sales performance, competitor movements (sales, promotions activities, incentive schemes and counter changes), business / trends / environments.
  • Provide feedback on assortment based on customer preference and sales performance
  • 3.Human Resources


  • Recruitment
  • BA Recruitment (incl. interview) & Retention
  • Supervise Promoter pool with AC and SE&P Mgr (EL)
  • Maintain a highly performance GS and promoter pool


  • Coaching
  • Train and develop new hires
  • Half yearly field staff evaluation
  • Attend Seasonal, Basic School and GS Training, and assist on-counter coaching on selling techniques of new product and performance follow up especially for newly joined BAs, GA or Promoters
  • Ensure that our BAs are informed and updated of brand related matters (Newness, Counter Updates, etc.)

  • BA / CM / GS development and motivation
  • Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment through team building and motivation
  • Maintain a communication system for the store to ensure all staff review current initiatives and direction
  • 4.Reporting


  • Feedback on CC / BA performance
  • Submit monthly OOS report
  • Submit monthly photo report, and provide feedbacks on store issues. (e.g. trans update, rectify reports, BA/GS performance)
  • Provide feedback of BA’s performance to Education and Sales team.
