Hotel Overview
Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square meter ballroom. 

Fairmont Gold Attendant
The position is responsible for assisting the daily operation of the Fairmont Gold department, ensuring the highest levels of Guest satisfaction at all times. Ensure that all Fairmont Gold Service Essentials and Operational Procedures are adhered to. 

What you will be doing:

  • Greet and Farewell guests in a friendly, courteous manner
  • Identifying guest preference acting on them to ensure a service experience is created and communicate to team and updating profile plus.
  • Use a Heartist® approach – make the guests Feel Welcome, Feel Heart-warmed, Feel Incredible, and Belong
  • Ensure that every guest request is owned and resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide the service based on the guest preferences
  • Provide the check in and check out process at the lounge
  • Ensure the service provided is done in a timely manner
  • Build a  strong relationship with the guest and anticipate their needs
  • Provide a smooth arrival and departure experience
  • Attention to detail in ensuring the lounge is well maintained at all times and that the ambiance changes in the lounge from one food and beverage presentation to the next.
  • Cleanliness and work safety in Food preparation and service areas
  • Efficiency of work in dish wash, pantry, and service preparations
  • Timeliness in pick-up and delivery of menu items
  • Accuracy in order taking
  • Controlling inventory needed for Fairmont Gold pantry

Your experience & skills include:

  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in FO department 
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Offices
  • Food and beverage knowledge or background
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team 
  • Food and Beverage serving experience required.
  • Good presentation and influencing skills 
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures 
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively 
  • Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and energetic
