What will you do?
This position will anticipate, strategize, plan, budget, and schedule office and operations facility modifications, prepare estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. This position will lead and execute on building space allocation and layout, maintenance/repair of building/building infrastructure. This position will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function by performing the following duties:
- Support the regional Facilities and EHS team in APJ region covering South East Asia operations
- Manages contractors and subcontracts for construction projects
- Collaboration with Global Real Estate team on lease matters and project implementation
- Conduct site space planning for optimization, site density, employee engagement
- Drive quality delivery, productivity and cost savings of all site services including: janitorial, café, security, reception, landscaping, and break room operations
- Influence on optimization of work request and preventative/predictive maintenance system and activities
- Monitor utilities spending and drive energy/water/gas conservation initiatives and projects in the region
- Implement programs and strategy in line with/by Global Facilities and Global Security & Business Continuity plan (BCM)
- Impart knowledge and skill to team member and implement best practice across the region
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. Certification in one or more relevant maintenance trades strongly preferred.
Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in Facilities management experience including staff supervision, budget accountability and project management
- Possess 5 years or more working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and building control management systems as well as relevant building codes and related regulatory requirements
- 3 years of supporting overseas projects through communication channels such as telephone, webex and dealing with other cultures
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Impart knowledge and skill to team member and implement best practice
- Good communication and interpersonal skills across different levels
- Must have initiative and good organizing ability
- Able to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
- Familiar with financial models to develop pay back models for infrastructure investments
- Proficient in AutoCad or similar as well as Microsoft office software
- Creative problem solving, customer service, planning and influence skills
- Able to read blue prints, technical drawings and systems specifications
- Experience with working on overseas projects in the region or beyond
