The Building Maintenance Unit is responsible to manage all aspects of building maintenance with an aim to provide a well-maintained, safe and sustainable environment for all users. Applications are now invited from qualified individuals for the position of Facilities Works Supervisor (Building Maintenance). The appointee will be responsible for the following:
- Monitor manpower and material resources for routine repairs and maintenance of the campus and oversee contractors’ work;
- Organize facilities maintenance services and monitor quality in compliance with the relevant codes for repairs and maintenance;
- Carry out duties assigned for facilities and estate/property management and assist in events organization;
- Supervise the in-house building maintenance workshop;
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements and create a culture of safety first across all operations;
- Carry out inspection, respond to emergency and organize urgent works including 24-hour emergency response; and
- Perform any responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Applicants should have an associate degree/higher diploma/higher certificate in building technology, construction or related disciplines; or a diploma/certificate in building technology, construction or related disciplines with 3 years of relevant experience in building facilities management. The appointee should possess in-depth knowledge relating to building repairs and maintenance, safety and building management, and proven experience in supervision of subordinates and contractors. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
