Key Accountabilities

  • Works with cross-functional teams (mainly Store Development) to set targets, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide management reporting and financial analysis on overall business performance review, identifying opportunities/risks and supporting decision making
  • Monitor store performance, work with business departments on proactive portfolio management
  • Provide information support on ad hoc projects or presentations
  • Financial database master and system expert in finance team
  • Maintain and update finance system to ensure data integrity and correction Requirements

Requirements

Summary of Experience

  • Financial analysis experience in MNC or big 4, 5 years or above
  • Candidates should have partnered with business department(s)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability in a fast growth environment

Education

  • Bachelors' degree in accounting, finance or business disciplines

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, in English and in Chinese
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis and forecasting
  • Ability to use and maintain complex financial models
  • Superior business partnering skills and good business sense
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of financial and management accounting principles

  • Create new business analytical modeling, validate project assumptions, and secure Finance alignment among various sub-functions (Marketing & Category, Tax, Accounting, Treasury, etc.)
  • Define dedicated or shared resourcing options for the business unit, recruit and train new Finance partners
  • Develop Sirens Retail performance KPIs (Retail and Manufacturing) and enhance daily/weekly/monthly performance reports to track results
  • Direct analyses towards key areas of performance to unlock business insights and opportunities
  • Assimilate financial and non-financial information to influence short, medium and long range decision making

Summary of Experience

  • 10 years minimum Finance work experience
  • Prefer Restaurant or Retail industry experience
  • Experience launching a new Retail business or finance project management background
  • Lead the creation of 5 year strategic plan, annual operating budgets, and forecasts

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to develop business KPIs, measure results, and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English
  • Works well in a cross-functional collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
