As a member of the communications team, your mission is to enhance SAP’s reputation among external audience, and advance SAP Labs China’s position in innovation thought leadership. You will work closely with different workstreams and line of business in SAP Labs China. In this role, you will be responsible for: …

• Operating SAP Labs China’s social media channels, mainly WeChat account.
• Maintaining a story pipeline that strengthens SAP Labs China’s public profile with regard to business strategy, innovation and thought leadership as well as leading market position in business software.
• Providing an engaging online experience for online audiences.
• Developing and pitching the right media formats and content to drive positive coverage about SAP.

o for key corporate issues such as strategy, strategic innovation topics and/or solution-/product-/customer-related topics.

o proactively engage and build strong relationships with the relevant global, regional, and/or local media (online, print, social media, broadcast, business, and/or trade press/verticals)

• Building and maintaining a network of trusted relationships with relevant members of the media, blogger and marketing communities.

• Understand the market trend, emerging technologies, compose all the new content into a nutshell to build SAP Labs China as innovation thought leader and the best choice of talent.

Tasks

• Develop and execute social media plan
• Create and edit social media posts with eye-catching format design. Distill complex technical content into easy-to-understand language.
• Establish internal content contribution network and maintain relations with internal contributors.
• Promote marketing campaigns, and events on social media.
• Meet target goals, summarize and evaluate the results of communications for continuous improvement.
• Developing creative story pitches.
• Generating content for use with media/bloggers. (press releases, videos, back grounders etc.)
• Supporting the arrangement of briefings/conferences for informing media/bloggers on company news and strategies.
• Keeping up a continuous dialog with selected journalists/bloggers for mutual trust and insight.
• Engaging with PR agencies in support of marketing campaigns and innovation thought leader activities.
• Managing specific communications projects/campaigns.
• Analyzing media-monitoring data and deriving need for adjusting communications strategy and tactics.

• Engaging with stakeholders in SAP to explore newsworthy topics.
