1) Main Responsibility.

1- Sourcing and development of fabrics, follow up, tracking , update status of production and development fabrics in spreadsheet.

2- Negotiate fabric costing and delivery, fabric bulk production approval and delivery follow up.

3- Closely coordinate with Fabric mill and Garment factory, set deadlines & procedures, resolve conflict and trouble shoot issues.

4- Coordinate with head office in Canada for critical issue & updates on regular basis.

5- Ensure bulk testing requirements & mill inspection as per the customer requirement and fabric is as per the standard.

6- Making sure to get internal testing from fabric mill in advance.

7- Review fabric shade bands lots as per approved sample and communicate.

8- Test each lot as per customer procedure and SOP “Standard operating Procedure”, review results from 3rd party and communicate results and feedback to factory and team in Canada.

9- Maintain files and communicate findings to Mondetta Canada team.

10- Randomly review garment production as per approved fabric shade bands lots.

11- Review internal fabric test report from fabric mill before reviewing fabric shade band/lots.

Requirement: 2-5 years merchandising experience on fabrics or garment. Worked with liaison / buying office. Has knowledge of costing, market trends, product safety requirements, textile material, fabric production, QA and compliance. Familiar with fabric processes, Yarn, knitting, processing and garment manufacturing.,.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in textile, trading, business, supplier chain management, English, etc.
