MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Expediter:

• The candidate is able to understanding production process for the parts in order to track the parts well

• The candidate is able to understand SAP system and order system in order to download the order from the system

• The candidate is responsible for the delivery time of the supply, monitoring production on the base of fabrication schedule issued by Suppliers and responsible of the coordination of all the expediting and shop inspection activities based on the order delivery schedule.

• The candidate highlights any potential critical path/event that might cause a shifting of delivery date, requesting to the Supplier the implementation of adequate corrective actions and ensuring the necessary follow up of the actions settled

• The candidate is responsible to send out the 1st contact to the vendor after PO acknowledgement.

• Expedite the daily, weekly and monthly progress report and sub-order status timely

• The candidate verifies that the Suppliers or Sub-Suppliers follow this schedule strictly, and cooperates with the technical section specialist to ensure any possible recovery in case of delay.

• The candidate is responsible for expediting the first issued documentation & drawings from Suppliers per the Material Requisition.

• The candidate will examine and check all expediting and shop inspection reports. He must also point out to the sourcing Manager all those elements contained in the reports, such as respect of delivery dates, quality of supply, etc. which may jeopardize the result of the supply. It is his responsibility to coordinate and control the activity of the local offices, providing them with all the necessary tools and cooperation to perform their job.

• The candidate is responsible to alarm to sourcing manager / buyer in case of any risks regarding the material availability, production process, its schedules and quality.

• The candidate is responsible for the preparation and working of any particular forms and technical specifications required, as well as the coordination of any Third Party Inspection Authority to be involved in the shop inspection activities.

• The candidate is responsible to contribute in the evaluation of suppliers’ performances with the contribution of any other involved colleague.

• The candidate may visit the Suppliers and issues an expediting report, notifying any needs or clarifications required by Suppliers.

• The following points are applicable in some regions only:

• Expedites Supplier’s delivery documents

• Effects expediting visits in order to verify:

• Conformity of Supplier’s delivery documents.

• Packing and marking.

• Loading optimization.

• The candidate has good communication skills to communicate with suppliers, sourcing manager and buyers regarding the delivery schedule

  
  

  Quality Inspector:

• Implement Surveillance in accordance to Inspection Test Plan

• Performance Process Verification against Critical Manufacturing Processes

• Perform First Article Inspection

• Prepare Daily Inspection Report

• Work with Supplier to identify technical solutions to meet Technical Specification

• Works under limited supervision. Supervisor provides suggestions for handling unusual or non-recurring transactions

• Required to interpret job requirements and coordinate equipment needed

• Ability to troubleshoot a problem, obstacle, or opportunity and take action which addresses current and/or future problems or opportunities

• Identifies and develops solutions for complex problems through the application of proven and/or new technologies and techniques.
